I am an Assistant Professor at Durham University Business School. Before joining Durham, I was a faculty member at SKK Graduate School of Business in South Korea. I received my PhD from the MIT Sloan School of Management and my BA from Istanbul University.

My research focuses on work and employment, particularly the experience of job search and unemployment, gender segregation in labor markets, and the role of institutions and organizational practices in shaping workers' careers and well-being.

Currently, together with my colleagues, I coordinate SASE's Network G on Labor Markets, Education, and Human Resources. The SASE 2026 conference will be held in Bordeaux on 1-3 July and we look forward to receiving your submissions to our network.
