Going Bananas Prototype — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
Who we are
Going Bananas Prototype is developed by Adrian Worrall under the developer name Wozzas. For support, privacy questions or deletion requests, email goingbananas.support@gmail.com.
What this version does
This policy covers the solo prototype. You play against computer-controlled rivals. Online multiplayer, player-to-player voice chat, advertising and in-app purchases are not enabled in this version. It is intended for players aged 13 and over and is subject to Meta's account and age requirements.
Information used by the game
The game uses Meta's platform services to check that your account is entitled to run it. The Meta SDK also requests your logged-in profile, which can include your Meta user ID and display name. The current prototype keeps that profile in game memory; it does not send it to a separate Wozzas game server or save a player-profile database.
Headset and controller positions and button inputs are processed on your device to move your character and interact with objects. Round scores and carried bananas are used for the current game session. We have not enabled a separate analytics service or online gameplay backend in this prototype.
Information you choose to send
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include, such as a headset model, game version, bug description or screenshot. We use this to reply, investigate problems and handle privacy requests. We may also receive feedback you choose to submit through Meta's testing tools. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.
Why we use information
We use limited account information to verify access and operate the game, and support correspondence to answer requests, fix problems and protect the service. Where UK data-protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in providing a functioning, secure prototype and responding to people who contact us. We do not use this information for targeted advertising or sell it.
Services and sharing
Meta operates the headset, account, Store and platform services under its own privacy policy. Google hosts this website and our Gmail support inbox and processes information as part of those services. These providers may process information internationally under their own terms and safeguards. We do not share support correspondence with other players. If a technical issue needs to be reported to a provider, we limit the information shared to what is necessary.

How long information is kept
The game's in-memory session information lasts only for the running session. We retain support correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the request, follow up on the issue or meet applicable legal obligations. Provider-held account and service information is governed by the provider's retention rules.
Your choices and rights
You can email goingbananas.support@gmail.com to ask what personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, or raise a concern. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may also request restriction or portability of your information.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will consider your request and explain any lawful reason we cannot fully comply. We may ask for proportionate information to verify that a request is yours. For information held independently by Meta or Google, use their privacy controls or contact them directly.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ or your local data-protection authority.
Updates
We will update this page if the game's data practices change, including before introducing online multiplayer or additional account services.
