Cyclistic Bike-share Analysis Case Study
In this case study, Cyclistic wishes to convert casual riders into members. As a junior data analyst in the marketing analytics team, I was tasked to investigate differences in customer behaviour and use the insights gathered to provide recommendations on the next steps in marketing strategy.
Upon data cleaning and validation, I explored the data and gathered insights, focusing on the differences in the behaviour of casual riders and members.
I used Tableau to design a data visualisation showing the insights gathered, which would be presented to the Director of Marketing. It would drive informed decision-making by the marketing team on how to proceed with the change in marketing strategy.
Casual riders go on less frequent rides for a long duration, while members go on frequent rides for a shorter duration
Casual riders usually make their longest trips on the weekend, while members do so on a weekday
There is a difference between the day of most trips made between casual riders and members
