The ribbon representing brain tumour & cancer awareness is grey and symbolizes a person’s grey matter. Grey matter is home to neural cell bodies, axon terminals, dendrites, and all nerve synapses. It can also be found in the cerebellum, cerebrum, and brain stem. At our events, we actively try to wear grey clothes, accessories and more. 

Founded in August 2021, this student-run organization raises money for the Youth Education Award, given to brain cancer and brain tumour survivors pursuing higher education. We donated our first award in November of 2023, as shown below. #Gogrey to support patients, survivors & families of brain cancer & brain tumours.
