There are no complications when playing Godzilla Battle Line, it is a pretty simple game. The first time you play, the game will even give you a tutorial on how to play! But sometimes a five minute tutorial doesn't cut it. It won't hurt to explain how to play and some neat strategies you can use on the battlefield!
The following text you will see down below is my journey through Godzilla Battle Line! I want to share these tips that helped me through the game!
The first step to achieve world dominance in Godzilla Battle Line is to create a powerful deck! Here's a couple of things I would suggest when you are creating your deck:
Try to use a deck with mainly Four-Star units. If you have many Four-Star units that you can use, I suggest looking up a tier list of the best Four-Star units in the game, both leader and unit. If you don't have enough Four-Stars, then use one Four-Star as your leader and one as a unit. However, there are strong three-star and two-star units out there.
Use Psychic Chorus! It's One-Star, takes up space, and is expensive to upgrade later, but I guarantee you that it is clutch during matches!
Assemble a deck with a variety of low cost units, as well as a couple high cost units. I bolded those words because it is VERY important. I see this problem in a lot of decks, if you have mainly high cost units, it's not going to go well for you. Sure, these units are powerful, at very high and expensive levels. If you fill your deck with high cost units, you can't pump out multiple units at a time. While you have one seven-cost unit out on the battlefield, the opponent will end up having two or more low cost units out there, which will quickly grow, and destroy your strong unit quickly. So I highly suggest a team consisting of one Four-Star leader, a group of five Four-Star 3-6 cost units, a singular Four-Star 7-9 cost unit, and Psychic Chorus.
An important factor to making a destroyer's deck is to focus on upgrading units rather than your leader. It's much better in the long run, and the leader's level will grow as you continue. Besides, if you have a strong leader but weak units, the opponent's units will crush yours and you will be faced with multiple units surrounding your leader, and soon that high leader health doesn't matter.
Look at the stats of units! Keep in track of how much health and attack your unit does, and what the pros and cons are of using such units. I suggest using a deck of units with about 2300 health at the minimum, and maybe 400 attack at the least, with a leader health of about 4000 and higher, and a special move damage of 900 and over. Your normal leader damage doesn't matter much in my opinion.
Don't ignore the buffs of certain units! When deployed or attacking, some units will apply a defensive or offensive buff to surrounding units and itself. Some units will also be permanently immune to stun when deployed, or heal itself when touching certain surfaces.
When using deck cards, make sure to use cards that will affect the units in your deck in positive ways, whether they're powerful or not. If you look at your leader's card buffs, you will see that if you apply certain types of cards to certain spots when utilizing, the card's stats will be increased.
In Part 2 of the "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" Collab, the game has updated, and you are now able to equip 12 units in one deck. With this, I suggest having two 7-9 cost units in your deck, and then the rest can be 2-6 cost units in your deck. The leader should still be a Four-Star, I would suggest this. But I would definitely equip 12 units, that way you have more access to many different units that could be handy on the battlefield.
In a 12 Unit Deck, I would definitely suggest support units. That way, your deck will be supplied with different buffs each time. If you apply support units, I would suggest M.O.G.U.E.R.A. (1994) and Rainbow Mothra (1998). When attacking, M.O.G.U.E.R.A. grants an effect to surrounding allied units with a cost of 6 or less that reduces damage received by 30% for 7 seconds. With this, hopefully you are using the deck I suggested above, with most of your units being 6 cost or less. On deployment, Rainbow Mothra grants itself and surrounding allied units of any cost the ability to nullify a single attack. This is an incredible effect, since in a "Leader-Ability Scenario" if the opponent uses it's leader ability, you can nullify it and save every single unit that should have been hit by the attack.

The next step to achieve world dominance in Godzilla Battle Line is to play the game with good strategies! To play, wait for your cost to go up on the live field, and deploy units as needed in different spots. If you want more strategies, look down below:
The moment you start a match, wait for your cost to reach max level. (10) This will ensure that you have enough energy to deploy multiple units at the start of the match.
If you have any evolving units in your deck that appear in one of the four slots at the start of the match, I suggest deploying these behind your leader. That way, you can use the fully-evolved units early in match.
When deploying units, plan where you will place different units, and don't rush strong units to the front row. Instead, balance the units location. I suggest deploying most units to the back row so that they can move slowly and possibly allow other units you deploy to catch up. Apply units to the front row when surrounded by enemies.
Send units to different areas on the battlefield when needed, such as for an effect or buff, to evolve, to battle an opposing unit, or to move stealthily past other units. And also, speaking of buffs-
If you look at the buffs on certain units, you will see that if you deploy units in certain areas, they will receive useful effects. Take Biollante, for example. If Biollante is deployed on any water source, her attack power is permanently increased by 80%. If you look at other units stats, you will find effects like this in other units. If you look at the buffs on other units, you will see that once you deploy certain units, they will affect a certain radius with attack up, defense up, or other cool buffs. For example, if you deploy Rainbow Mothra, she will grant herself and surrounding allied units the ability to nullify a single attack. If you don't understand what that means, basically, any units within the radius of Rainbow Mothra's buff will receive a free one-time shield. When you dive into this even more, you will discover a load of different effects that make each unit different! Kamata-Kun (Shin Godzilla 1st Form) will heal it's maximum HP by 10% when touching a body of water, when attacking, M.O.G.U.E.R.A. grants an effect to surrounding allied units with a cost of 6 or less that reduces damage received by 30% for 7 seconds, and Gamera (Flying Form) is permanently immune to stun after deployment. There is so much more, these are just some small examples.

The final step to to achieve world dominance in Godzilla Battle Line is to play in events! Events happen every season, such as the All-Star Battle and Egg Events! Here's some information about the events, there's not too much for now.
All-Star Battle events are extremely important for your development in the game. In these rounds, you use event tickets to play, and you get around three per day. After every three rounds, you reach a checkpoint and claim a reward, such as G-Stones or Expedition Maps. The most important thing you can collect is Event Tokens!
There is an event shop, and in it, you can purchase items with event tokens! In this shop, you can purchase actual units! Desghidorah is easily obtained in this shop for 1500 Event Tokens, and this is the only shop where you can obtain him easily! Otherwise, you can obtain a Four-Star Upgrade G-Material for 3500 Event Tokens, and a Season-Special Expedition Map for 1000 Event Tokens, as well as a Special Unit that is chosen for the first-half of the All-Star Battle for 500, 1000 Event Tokens, and a Second Special Unit that is chosen for the second-half of the All-Star Battle for either another 500, 1000, or 1500 Event Tokens.
The Egg Event is very useful for upgrading units in the game. In these ranked matches, you use egg event tickets to play, and you get around five per day. If you win a round, you will get the chance to hatch, grow, or develop your egg. If you lose a round, you will still get the chance to hatch or develop your egg, it just won't grow to a better level where you can unlock Four-Star units. If you don't play at all, you can still hatch your egg, just note that you will probably get something useless, and you can't hatch your egg until it is at level one. The max level for any egg is five, and the max growth for any egg is rainbow, where you have basically guaranteed yourself a free Four-Star unit if your egg is Level Five and Rainbow. It would be unlucky to get something bad. (It's happened to me before, I sadly got 50x Air Base. Sadness overload.)
