Godot Planner ("the app") is an unofficial, community-built tool for viewing and editing Godot scene (.tscn) files on iOS and iPadOS. This policy explains what data the app does — and does not — handle.
Godot Planner does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Everything you do in the app stays on your device (or in the iCloud / Files location you chose for your documents). There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs.
None. The app:
does not require an account or sign-in;
does not contain analytics, telemetry, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs;
does not contact any server operated by us or by a third party;
does not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, location, or health data.
The bundled PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest declares NSPrivacyTracking = false and an empty NSPrivacyCollectedDataTypes array, consistent with the above.
Godot Planner uses Apple's standard document system (DocumentGroup / the Files app). The scene files you open and edit live wherever you put them:
on your device,
in iCloud Drive, or
in any third-party file provider you have enabled in the Files app (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.).
The app reads and writes those files only when you open or save them. Their storage, syncing, and backup are handled entirely by iOS and by the provider you chose — not by us. We never receive a copy of your scene files.
If you have iCloud Backup enabled, files stored in iCloud Drive (and any data inside the app's own container) may be backed up by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
The app does not include its own crash-reporting service. If you have opted in to Share With App Developers in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements on your device, Apple may send us aggregated, anonymized crash logs and performance metrics through App Store Connect. Apple controls what is included; we only see what Apple chooses to share. You can disable this at any time in iOS Settings.
If you participate in a TestFlight beta, Apple collects some information (email, device, build, crash data, and any feedback you submit) and shares parts of it with us so we can improve the beta. This is governed by Apple's TestFlight terms and Apple's privacy policy. We use that information only to fix bugs and improve the app, and we do not combine it with any other dataset.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
The app bundles editor icons and the class API (extension_api.json) from the Godot Engine project, used under the MIT License. These are static assets shipped inside the app; they do not collect or transmit data. "Godot" and the Godot logo are trademarks of their respective owners. Godot Planner is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Godot Engine project.
Because we do not collect or store personal data, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. To remove data held on your device, delete the app or remove the relevant files from the Files app. For data Apple holds about your App Store / TestFlight activity, see Apple's Data and Privacy page.
If this policy changes in any material way, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, note the change in the app's release notes.
