1. ABOUT THIS POLICY

GodKänt is an Android app developed by ACodigo Software Group for people studying Swedish category B driving theory. This policy explains what information the app uses, why it is needed, how it is stored, which services process it, and what choices you have.

2. USING THE APP AS A GUEST

You may use the core learning features without creating an account. When you continue as a guest, learning progress is stored locally on your device. However, services used for advertising, analytics, crash diagnostics, application updates, and voluntary problem reports may still process technical data as described below.

3. OPTIONAL GOOGLE SIGN-IN

Google Sign-In is optional. If you choose to sign in, the app uses Firebase Authentication to receive and process basic account information provided by Google:

• Display name

• Email address

• Profile picture URL

• Google/Firebase account identifier

• Authentication token required to verify the sign-in

We use this information only to authenticate you, display your account information inside the app, associate your cloud progress with your account, and support account management. We do not receive or store your Google password. We do not access Gmail messages, Google contacts, Google Drive files, calendars, or other Google account content.

4. LEARNING PROGRESS AND CLOUD SYNCHRONIZATION

When you are signed in, the app may store and synchronize the following information in Firebase Realtime Database:

• Favorite question identifiers and related timestamps

• Weak-point question identifiers, success counts, failure counts, and update timestamps

• Test, study, and exam results

• Scores, answer status, question identifiers, selected answers, duration, and completion timestamps

• Limited progress preferences required to restore the latest results

• Records indicating that a favorite or weak-point entry was deleted, so deleted items do not reappear during synchronization

Progress created before signing in, or while signed out, may be merged with the progress already associated with your account when you sign in again.

Device-specific settings such as the selected language, theme, sound settings, reminders, and similar interface preferences remain on the device and are not intentionally synchronized as account progress.

5. RESET PROGRESS, SIGN OUT, AND DELETE ACCOUNT

• Reset Progress: This action clears learning progress stored locally on the current device. It does not delete your account or your existing cloud backup.

• Sign Out: The app attempts to back up current progress before signing out and then removes local learning progress from that device. Cloud progress remains associated with the account.

• Delete Account: The in-app Delete Account function asks you to confirm your Google identity and then permanently deletes the Firebase account, the progress stored under that account in Firebase Realtime Database, and local learning progress on the device.

To request account and associated data deletion without access to the app, email dr.amer.al.masri@gmail.com with the subject “GodKänt Account Deletion Request” and identify the email address used for Google Sign-In. We may ask for reasonable verification to protect the account from unauthorized deletion. We will use the request information only to verify and complete the deletion.

6. VOLUNTARY PROBLEM REPORTS

If you voluntarily report a problem with a question or the app, we may receive:

• Question identifier and displayed question text

• The issue category and any message you choose to write

• Submission timestamp

• App version, device model, and Android version for general app reports

Reports are used to investigate technical or content problems and improve the application. Do not include unnecessary personal or sensitive information in a report.

7. AUTOMATIC TECHNICAL DATA AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

GodKänt uses Google services that may process technical information according to their own terms and privacy policies:

• Google Play Services and Firebase Authentication: Account authentication and essential Android services.

• Firebase Realtime Database: Storage and synchronization of signed-in learning progress and voluntary reports.

• Google Analytics for Firebase: App usage and interaction analytics.

• Firebase Crashlytics: Crash reports, diagnostic information, device and app information, and installation identifiers used to identify and resolve technical problems.

• Google AdMob: Advertising, ad delivery, fraud prevention, frequency control, and ad performance measurement. Depending on your region and consent choices, Google and its advertising partners may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, and ad interactions to provide personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Google and its service providers may process data on our behalf, and advertising providers may receive or process data as necessary to deliver and measure advertisements. 8. ADVERTISING AND PRIVACY CHOICES

Where required, the app presents a consent message before requesting ads or analytics storage that requires consent. Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland can choose the available advertising and privacy options and can revisit those choices through the privacy options entry point provided in the app.

9. PERMISSIONS

Depending on your Android version and the feature you use, the app may request or use:

• Internet and network state: Authentication, synchronization, reports, updates, analytics, diagnostics, and advertisements.

• Notifications: Optional study reminders and important app notifications. You can deny or disable this permission in Android settings.

• Phone call: Used only when you deliberately choose to call support. The app does not place a call without your action.

• Vibration and wake lock: Interface feedback, reminders, and reliable app operation.

• Screen-capture detection or FLAG_SECURE: Protection of licensed educational content. This does not give the app access to your photos or personal files.

10. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES

We process data only for the purposes described in this policy, including app functionality, account management, progress synchronization, support, security, analytics, diagnostics, and advertising. Where applicable, processing is based on your consent, performance of the service you request, compliance with legal obligations, or our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the app. You may withdraw optional consent through the available privacy settings without losing access to the guest learning features.

11. DATA RETENTION

• Cloud learning progress is retained while the account remains active or until you delete the account or submit a verified deletion request.

• Local learning progress remains on the device until it is reset, removed during sign-out, deleted with the account, removed by clearing app data, or removed by uninstalling the app.

• Voluntary reports are retained only as long as reasonably needed to investigate and resolve the reported issue and maintain content quality.

• Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, AdMob, and Google Play Services retain technical information according to the retention settings and policies of the applicable Google service.

12. DATA SECURITY AND INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING

We use Firebase Authentication, account-specific identifiers, Firebase security controls, and encrypted network connections to protect transmitted data. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Google services may process information on servers located outside your country. Where required, applicable contractual and legal safeguards are used for international processing.

13. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. You can:

• Use the app as a guest without Google Sign-In

• Sign out from the app settings

• Reset local progress

• Delete your account and associated cloud data from the app settings

• Request deletion without the app by emailing dr.amer.al.masri@gmail.com

• Change Android notification permissions in device settings

• Change available advertising and consent choices through the app’s privacy options

14. CHILDREN

GodKänt is intended for people studying for a Swedish category B driving licence and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can investigate and delete it when required.

15. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the app, services, or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date will be changed when the policy is revised. Material changes may also be communicated inside the app where appropriate.
