PIONEER & VISIONARY
Musahar: Extremely poor and landless laborers (often working in brick kilns or fields).Dharkar: Traditional bamboo artisans and daily wage laborers.Dom: An underserved community traditionally serving at the ghats.Children from these communities often fall behind and are forced into rag-picking or child labor on the streets.
A. Rural & Slum Outreach: " The Forgotten Children “
"Our primary focus is on the Musahar, Dharkar, and Dom communities—on those children who stand at the very last edge of society. We go into those settlements where rag-picking and child labor have become a compulsion. Our objective is to [take the trash out of these children's hands...]"
2. Nutritional Support : " Meals of Grace "
To tackle the problem of malnutrition, we have been running regular meal programs since 2022. Our priority is to distribute nutritious food, whether it is pure home-cooked meals or through the support of donors. This is not just about satisfying hunger, but also about sharing the love of Christ through the taste of food.
3. Character Transformation: " From Darkness to Light "
Our most important work is "Character Building." Through Bible stories, songs, and prayer, we inspire children to leave behind bad habits (such as swearing or substance abuse, etc.) and move towards "Repentance" and Christian values. We want to give them a future where they live with honesty and morality.
4. Emergency & Seasonal Relief: " Warmth for the Vulnerable"
Whether it is cold weather, a summer heatwave, monsoon/flood relief, disaster response, livelihood support, or any kind of natural disaster—"Good Help Trust" acts as a shield.
A. Blankets and Warm Clothes:
Distributing blankets, shawls, sweaters, mufflers, and woolen caps to homeless people, those in night shelters (Rain Baseras), and needy individuals in rural areas.
B. Summer Heatwave Relief:
Providing shelter or roofing arrangements for laborers working in the sun and distributing ORS packets, lassi, or juice at public places or in roadside slums (Jhuggi-Jhopris).
5. Education & Awareness:
School Chalo Campaign: Motivating children who engage in rag-picking to attend school and providing them with essential supplies like bags, notebooks, and stationery.
Hygiene Awareness: Teaching children in slum communities about the importance of cleanliness and ways to prevent diseases.
1.Method of Service
Slum Fellowship: We go directly into the slums and shanties where these children live. There, we sit among them on mats, spend time with them, and listen to their problems.
2.Music & Prayer:
Through songs and hymns, we bring messages of peace and hope to these communities. Prayer is the main foundation of our service.
3. From Children to Families:
We first win the trust of the children and teach them good habits and the Word. Then, through the children, we strive to bring the message of Repentance and the light of the Gospel to their parents.
