A website for a cause. Rally 4x4 Ukraine is an initiative by the non-profit organisation všį Kelio Knyga. I designed and built the website using the Hostinger website builder, focusing on clear, engaging layout to support the mission.

Rally 4 Ukraine is an international adventure rally where participants drive 4x4 or pickup vehicles across Europe to Lithuania, take part in a 2-day off-road event and donate their vehicles to Ukraine’s frontline defenders.
The website is the main platform for registration, route planning and community engagement. It must clearly explain the mission, show the real impact of participation and support both physical drivers and Virtual Rally supporters who sponsor vehicles and follow their journey online.
The concept of Rally 4 Ukraine is powerful but complex. Potential participants may feel uncertain about logistics, safety and vehicle requirements, while virtual supporters lack a clear way to get involved. The website must simplify the process, build trust and turn interest into action by clearly guiding users and showing how their contribution makes a real difference.
The moodboard reflects emotional direction of the project by combining real rally imagery, Ukrainian national colours and references to existing motorsport and charity platforms. The off-road photography and mud textures communicate adventure, while the damaged urban scenes remind of the real-world consequences of the war and why the mission matters.
The colour palette is built around deep black and greys for seriousness and trust, bright blue and yellow taken from the Ukrainian flag to emphasise clear purpose, and clean white for clarity. Together, these elements define a bold, impactful tone that balances adrenaline with purpose and guides the visual identity of the final website.
After researching a number of related examples, I selected several websites that demonstrated strong structure of one page layout and had an effective presentation of complex information. These references helped identify the most suitable layout patterns for this project and shaped the initial planning of the final website structure.
The wireframes were created to translate the layout plan into a clear page structure. To speed up the process, I used AI-assisted tools such as Relume, which helped generate initial structures that were then refined to fit the project’s specific goals.
After realising that there has to be two distinct personas, I created two separate profiles. This helped clarify their different goals and expectations when interacting with the website.
