Yesterday is History, Today is a Gift, Tomorrow is Mystery
The Catholic Church of Texas, grounded in the apostolic faith and committed to preserving the authentic Holy Catholic tradition, seeks to bring all people into the fullness of life in Christ through humility, love, fellowship, and charitable deeds.
Our church is devoted to uniting Texans around the celebration of the Eternal Mass, offering a deeply rooted, sacramental expression of the Catholic faith in a landscape shaped largely by Southern Baptist and evangelical traditions. We work to preserve historic liturgy, uphold the apostolic faith, and cultivate a community that reflects both the spiritual heritage of the early Church and the cultural character of Texas.
We strive to nurture reverence in worship, encourage vocations, and revive the ancient practices of the early Church so that the faith handed down by the Apostles may continue unchanged in our time and for generations to come.
In the spirit of Christ’s own ministry and the apostolic example, we dedicate ourselves to chaplaincy, preaching, pastoral service, and works of mercy—bringing the light of the Gospel to those in need, comforting the suffering, and proclaiming the truth wherever God opens a door. Through these labors, we seek to embody the compassion, courage, and steadfast witness shown by our Lord and His Apostles.
Guided by the Holy Spirit and the Bishops of the Lone Star Synod, we commit ourselves to walking the narrow way of salvation, remembering the words of our Lord: “Narrow is the path which leads to life.”
