GoBoomTV Rules

In essence, our YouTube channel must remain family-friendly and safe for all viewers. Consequently, we have established rules that are updated at least bi-monthly. We recognise that adhering to these rules may be challenging for some, yet we urge you to comply to the best of your ability. Your efforts to follow these guidelines are highly valued.

You must obey these rules:

1) Refrain from making any comments that could be considered inappropriate or offensive, in any language. Such behavior is not tolerated.
2) Avoid spamming; it's not appreciated here.
3) Using inappropriate language, regardless of its origin, is not permitted.
4) Please do not use someone's real name unless it is their YouTube channel name, in which case exceptions are made. Privacy is highly valued.
5) Do not disclose personal information. This should be common internet knowledge.
6) Accusations against anyone are unacceptable, regardless of their truthfulness, on GoBoomTV.
7) Do not bring alternate accounts in to influence the result in a poll.
8) Attempting to bypass these rules is prohibited; they are in place for your protection.
9) Compliance with GoBoomTV Leaders' requests to cease any action is mandatory.

Recall the THINK acronym before engaging in conversation:

T - Is it TRUE?

H - Is it HELPFUL?

I - Is it INSPIRING?

N - Is it NECESSARY?

K - Is it KIND?

In addition, you must comply with the "Chat" rules on Autcraft.

There are NO exceptions.

What happens in a rule breach?

During a livestream, if a message is found to be inappropriate, it is removed and the user who posted it receives a timeout from one of our moderators. 

Inappropriate comments, on the other hand, are held for review. Those that are considered suitable are approved and published. Inappropriate comments are deleted before they are ever displayed.

Below is the offence list for rule violations:

LIVESTREAMS:

• 1st offence - 60-second timeout (1 minute)

• 2nd offence - 120-second timeout (2 minutes)

• 3rd offence - 300-second timeout (5 minutes)

• 4th offence - 600-second timeout (10 minutes)

• 5th offence - Exclusion from the GoBoomTV channel (all comments and live chat messages will be removed, and future messages or comments cannot be posted) for one week (7 days)

COMMENTS:

• 1st offence - Exclusion from the GoBoomTV channel (all comments and live chat messages will be removed, and future messages or comments cannot be posted) for 24 hours (1 day)

• 2nd offence - Exclusion from the GoBoomTV channel (all comments and live chat messages will be removed, and future messages or comments cannot be posted) for 48 hours (2 days)

• 3rd offence - Exclusion from the GoBoomTV channel (all comments and live chat messages will be removed, and future messages or comments cannot be posted) for 96 hours (4 days)

• 4th offence - Exclusion from the GoBoomTV channel (all comments and live chat messages will be removed, and future messages or comments cannot be posted) for 120 hours (5 days)

• 5th offence - Exclusion from the GoBoomTV channel (all comments and live chat messages will be removed, and future messages or comments cannot be posted) for one week (7 days)

Please note, there is no option for ban appeal. Any offence incurred is recorded on a confidential offence page (not accessible to the public) on our website (a log of offences).
