Terms and COnditions

· The cost of each block includes planning time, marking of work set and an assessment at the end of the blocks with actions.

· Before paying, dates for sessions will be confirmed. Once paid for, the dates can’t be altered without at least a week’s notice.

· Bespoke packages for multiple children or multi-aged children can be put together. Please contact me at gobblemaths@gmail.com and state your requirements.

· Each session requires the student(s) to be in front of a camera with suitable microphone (desktop, laptop or tablet with at least a 10 inch screen) and have access to Google Chrome. Students will also need a scientific calculator (preferable to an app as apps can be too varied), paper/book, ruler, protractor (shape and data only), compass (shape/geometry and data only), BLACK pen, pencil and highlighters.

· Each child should have access to a Gmail account that can be monitored by an adult. All communication with a child from me will be through Google apps. Any other communication will be between myself and the parent/carer. If a child contacts me about anything other than their work using their parent/carer monitored account, I will direct this back to the parent/carer as soon as possible.

· For sessions involving graph paper and/or tracing paper, this can either be provided by yourselves or an additional fee of £1 can be paid and I will post out the paper to you (at least 4 days notice required to ensure it arrives on time).

· If you haven’t had a session before, we will have an additional 15 minutes to chat and ensure all of the technology is working correctly free of charge during session 1 (free of charge). I will also send out a questionnaire prior to commencing to ensure I have all the information required to ensure you get the most out of your sessions.

· Whilst each session is taking place, please ensure that there is an adult in the room or in an adjacent room with the door open so that the session can be supervised.

· Any information stored will be for the purpose of the blocks only, my assessment and future planning based on my observations as a teacher. Necessary information will be kept on record for 12 months after discontinuing any blocks. This is to ensure that if you require information in the months after finishing, I have it available, or you would like to complete additional blocks. After 12 months it will be destroyed.

· If you cancel a session with less than 5 days notice, the session can be rearranged at a cost of £10 for the rearranged session.

· If I cancel a session with less than 5 days notice, the session can be rearranged for a future date. If you choose not to rearrange, the cost of the session will be refunded to you (calculated: cost of block divided by number of weeks.

· ZOOM is the platform currently used. I will send a link and password by email before each session and the session is password and waiting room protected. This is NOT to be shared for safeguarding reasons.

· I have completed all up to date safeguarding training and I am DBS checked. Your child’s education and safety is my highest priority.
