Goathland in 2000

In the run-up to the Millennium Year, post offices throughout the North East Region celebrated the occasion with their own unique momento of the landmark event.

The Post Office Millennium Community Diary for Goathland, which was compiled by local people, recorded their experiences of community life as they entered a new century and the Year 2000.
