Everything you need to know to use our products effectively
The Play Goal feature allows you to view and engage with your goals in a dynamic, motivating way. Here’s how it works:
Playing Goals in a Specific Category:
After adding goals to specific categories, such as Family or Career, you’ll see a Play button next to each category name. Tapping this Play button will start a slideshow, displaying only the goals within that selected category. For example, pressing Play in the Family category will cycle through only Family-related goals.
Playing All Goals:
To view all goals across all categories, tap the Play All Goals button at the bottom of the Categories screen. This will include goals from every category you’ve set up, such as Family and Career, creating a motivating mix of goals for you to view randomly from each category.
Each goal in Goal Loop comes with a set of 15 questions designed to help you clarify, expand, and stay committed to your goals. Here’s why answering these questions is beneficial:
Minimum Requirement:
You only need to answer three questions with full sentences to complete a goal. However, answering more questions will make the app even more effective at keeping you focused.
Enhanced Motivation:
Goal Loop uses your answers to generate personalized motivational messages, displayed alongside the images you add for each goal. The more questions you answer, the more unique motivational messages you’ll see that directly reflect your thoughts and aspirations.
Guided Reflection:
While only three answers are required, the app encourages you to review all questions. This process may spark additional insights about your goals. Even if you don’t have an immediate answer, simply reading through each question might inspire you to add more details, deepening your commitment.
More Benefits with More Answers:
The more questions you answer, the more meaningful the experience becomes. Additional responses give Goal Loop more material to create personalized and motivating reminders, helping you stay focused and encouraged as you work toward your goals.
If you can’t find your goals on the Goals screen, it could be due to the filter settings. Here’s how to ensure all goals are visible:
Filter Settings:
Check the filter at the top of the Goals screen. By default, you can filter between All, Normal, Important, and Critical goals.
To see all goals, make sure the filter is set to All.
To view specific types, select Normal, Important, or Critical as needed.
Setting the appropriate filter will help you quickly locate your goals.
If the Add Goal button isn’t enabled, you may need to complete a few more steps in the goal setup. To successfully add a goal, you’ll need to:
Complete the Goal Details:
When creating a new goal, Goal Loop will guide you through a series of questions designed to help you reflect on the importance of your goal. You’ll think about:
Why this goal matters to you
Why achieving this goal is important
The consequences of not achieving it
This reflection is valuable for goal commitment and helps the app provide you with motivational prompts.
Add at Least One Picture:
Adding a picture for your goal is required to activate the Add Goal button. The image serves as a visual reminder and will be displayed along with motivational messages.
Once these steps are completed, the Add Goal button will become enabled, and you’ll be able to save your goal.
