Yes but to no avail. Perhaps because this is a weekend and the money from the bank shows as pending, the steam people's system is waiting for the money to actually clear the bank. But that is a long shot of hopeful thinking on my part. I did immediately get the message while in steam that the purchase was successful and that the bundle was in my library which it was not. Oh well, only $3.30 tax and all.

Been looking at picking this up on steam for a while. What's the general consensus on it in terms of price tag and social factor? Is it worth the price tag?

Me and my buddies usually hop around minigolf worlds on Vrchat but naturally there isn't much variety when it comes to that, but I will admit I do enjoy being able to physically see my friends and their avatars while we golf

I know the IC on my 'charged mini used to steam a LOT in wet weather - kinda looked like dragons breath - but that was through the open bonnet vent that fed water directly onto it, and that top mount got proper HOT when stationary for a while...

My car (the mini) overheated the first week i got it with coolant spunked all over the engine bay and loads of foul smelling smoke as a result... consequently, I never enjoyed the steam off the intercooler as I always panicked the car was over heating!!! It never did do it again and luckily the overheat didnt do the head gasket etc so got away with that completely thanks to warranty!!

When we think of steam or diesel locomotives, most people picture the powerful engines used to pull heavy freight trains, or streamlined beauties on the front of a fast passenger train. Few would remember the lowly yard goat that keeps things running smoothly, accurately, and on time.

We picked the name Yard Goat Images because we like what it stands for. We respect and admire those who work hard behind the scenes preserving, maintaining, and operating historic equipment. Many of these people are volunteers. Without them there would be no steam engines operating at museums, attractions, or pulling mainline excursions. There would be no streetcars or interurbans to ride.

With heat nearing 100 degrees in the Midwest in 2011, this potpourri of steam footage was doubly appreciated by railfans; but the cabs of the steam locos were pretty uncomfortable. In Volume I, the Little River Railroad in Coldwater, Michigan threw a three-day party for their 100-year-old 4-6-2 Pacific logging locomotive. Three visiting tank engines, Viscose Company #6, Flagg Coal #75, and Lehigh Valley Coal #126 were guests of honor. Little River Railroad #1, also a tank engine, made for a total of five steam engines.

The first two days featured four daily trips between Coldwater and Quincy, each pulled by one of the tank engines, and a longer trip to Hillsdale, Michigan pulled by #110. On day three, all five engines teamed up to power two trips to Quincy; talk about smoke and steam and action.

You can still build the non-steam version from the source on GitHub - though there may be kinks in the mac version. Someone else has also been working on mac builds - perhaps you could collaborate with them? With that you can copy the assets directory from Steam to the app bundle and copy your characters from %appdata%/Trederia/golf/user/profiles/ on Windows to /users//library/application support/golf/user/profiles (I think, my mac is *very* rusty). It's rather inconvenient, I admit, although there are bound to be some automated solutions out there, even if it's just a shell script ?

- Hoping steam release will have a full club selection? And did you fix auto club selection? It's awkward and a pain to switch clubs every single shot. And maybe with experience and good play, your yardages become farther for driver etc. Would add repeat playability to improve your player's skill and club power etc.

Interesting. Firstly, thanks for letting me know how it works on a steam deck! I don't have access to one so I've not been able to test it (although I'd love to at some point). The local server thing should be fine without a network, at least it is on a regular Windows machine, so I can only assume it's a quirk of proton. There's a version of the game built with manjaro linux available to download (which valve recommend for steam deck development) - does that run at all? I'll definitely be making an effort in the future to make sure the game is fully steam deck compatible so I'll take your feedback into account. Thanks! ?

Shame. I'd be interested to know if steam deck supports installing packages from pacman (I *really* need to get my hands on one ?) - although from what I hear it's generally easier to use use proton than it is to get native versions running... The game itself should dump some log files to your user directory if there's an error, although I have no idea where that would be under proton, presumably /home/user/.local/share/ but maybe not if proton handles this differently. If you have access to a keyboard you can also open an in-game console with F1 which ought to have some error messages printed to it. Thanks for all the feedback though, it's most appreciated! I've looked at flatpak in the past but my brain was unable to comprehend the packing process - if you can shed any light on that I (and all the linux users) would be eternally grateful!

With regards to running it in Proton, after enabling Hidden Files, the path of /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/########/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Roaming/Trederia/ got me to the config files, no logs in sight.

AppImage looks promising, especially if I can hook it up to the cmake script. I've still got a big chunk of work to do to get the next update to VGA Golf done, but after that I shall definitely be looking into this more. Oh, and you didn't hear it here, but there may be a chance of the game coming to steam in the future ? Potentially this could make things a little simpler when running on steam deck, if only because it'll be ported to Valve's networking libraries. e24fc04721
