We saw students make sacrifices to their education, economic ramifications that will effect the globe for years to come, and signs of clinical anxiety and depression in a third of Americans. Reopening is the only light at the end of the tunnel. Some communities have thrown caution to the wind and reopened as normal but with thousands of years of technological advancements at our fingertips, we can do better to make reopening safer.

Cap-It provides open-source plans using low cost, readily available consumer parts to build devices to help cap the number of people in a given space. A traffic light like system enforces capacity limits in exposure-prone areas to help allow places like schools and businesses to open more safely.
