Core Research Areas

• Compound Isolation and Structural Elucidation We specialize in the targeted isolation of functional compounds from various natural sources. Utilizing advanced Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, we rigorously determine the absolute chemical structures of novel and known secondary metabolites

• Advanced Metabolomics and Molecular Networking Employing Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS), we conduct in-depth multivariate analyses of complex natural extracts. We leverage molecular networking approaches to efficiently map chemical spaces, streamline the dereplication process, and identify structurally related compound clusters

• Comprehensive Chemical Profiling Utilizing state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation, we perform precise qualitative and quantitative analyses of natural product extracts. This meticulous chemical profiling is essential for establishing standardized metabolite profiles and ensuring the reproducibility of functional materials

• Bioactivity Evaluation and Translational Research We systematically investigate the pharmacological potential of natural products utilizing established in vitro disease models. Our ultimate goal is the discovery of novel biological activities and the translation of these findings into industrial applications, including the development of functional foods, specialized therapeutics, and high-value additives
