GNSS Meteorology for Southeast Asia

EOS has been maintaining two continuously operating GNSS networks in Southeast Asia: the Sumatran GNSS Array (SuGAr) [Paper 13: Feng et al. 2015] and the Myanmar-India-Bangladesh-Bhutan (MIBB) GNSS network [Paper 28: Mallick et al. 2019].

These networks were originally established for recording tectonic deformation and earthquakes; however, they also collect rich information about water vapor in the atmosphere.

I am particularly interested in exploring this treasure trove for climate studies. We have just started this adventurous exploration. Some interesting results will come in the near future. Stay tuned if you are interested!
