Terms of Service

We operate the mobile application Gnoki as well as any other related products and service that refer or link to these legal terms. By using the application we assume you accept our Terms of Service (“Terms”) posted on this page. Do NOT continue to use Gnoki if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page. 

Using Gnoki and our Services

• Our Terms and Rules. You must use our Services according to our Terms and chat rules. If we disable your account for a violation of our Terms, you will not create another account without our permission.

• Minimum Age. You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services. The minimum age to use our Services without parental approval may be higher in your home country. 

• Privacy of user data: Gnoki does not sell, rent or monetize your personal data or content in any way and it is not our intention to do that.

• Unauthorized use. You must not (or assist others to) access, use, modify, distribute, transfer, or exploit our Services in unauthorized manners, or in ways that harm Gnoki, our Services, or systems. 

• Software. In order to enable new features and enhanced functionality, you consent to downloading and installing updates to our Services. 

• Fees and Taxes. You are responsible for data and mobile carrier fees and taxes associated with the devices on which you use our Services.  

Rules

We are committed to creating a comfortable space for communication between people. To make such communication enjoyable for everyone, we ask our users to stick to the simple chat rules. By using our service, you agree to comply with the chat rules listed below. Please stop using the service if you cannot comply with these rules. It is forbidden to:

• Use obscene language.

• Post or comment with the primary purpose to harass or single out another person for abuse, bullying, malicious attack, or ridicule.

• Insult interlocutors or behave rudely towards them. 

• Perform any discriminatory actions against interlocutors on the grounds of race, religion, nationality, gender, age, appearance.

• Threaten other chat participants by any means.

• Promote or suggest any sexually explicit content.

• Use words or expressions that are affiliated with sexually provocative slang or may imply an obscene meaning (for example, "cock,” "pussy,” etc.).

• Send messages in bulk or send the same message to a large number of users.

Complaint procedures

• Like any other user of our service, you can block another chat participant or user if you notice inappropriate behavior or violation of our chat rules. A blocked user cannot use the app between 24 and 48 hours.

• Pay attention to read the chat rules before blocking a user. Any abusive reporting may also block your user from using the app.

• By using our service, you accept our current complaint procedures. Please remember that other users may also block you, which may lead to an automatic ban.

• If other chat participant violates the chat rules or behaves offensively towards you, please do not respond with an offense or violation. If you do so, you will become a violator and may be banned.

Changes

We reserve the right to change, revise, or modify any part of these rules at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to check the rules periodically for changes. By participating to the chat, you confirm acceptance of those changes.
