If you want a secure, single-firearm mount for quick access inside your cab or home that won't scratch your weapon, choose GMW Gun Magnet; if you need to haul two long guns and bows on the rear of an off-roading vehicle without drilling holes in your truck, choose ciciglow Truck Bracket.
• neodymium grip with a fast-draw slide racking design, but it is limited to one handgun per unit and requires adhesive or screws. This pick is for concealed carry drivers who need instant access to a pistol while driving or at home.
• ciciglow Truck Bracket: Its biggest strength is the dual-storage capacity for two firearms plus bows using heavy-duty steel, but it only fits rear windows and is designed for larger gear rather than a single sidearm. This pick is for off-road enthusiasts who need to transport rifles, shotguns, and archery gear securely over rough terrain.
The GMW Cavalry Series is engineered for a very specific type of user: someone who carries a single handgun and needs it accessible within seconds. This isn't just about sticking metal to metal; it is about stability during dynamic movement. Whether you are navigating potholes on a rural road or driving through a chaotic environment, the magnet ensures your firearm stays firmly in place without sliding or falling out.
What sets this mount apart from traditional holsters is the "Fast Draw Fast Loading" design. You do not have to fumble with clips, straps, or buttons. Instead, you simply push your mounted handgun against the front of the mount to rack the slide. In a high-stress emergency situation like a road rage incident or a sudden threat, that extra second saved by not having to manipulate a mechanical lock can be critical. It allows for a fluid motion where the gun is ready to fire almost immediately upon removal.
However, this design dictates who should buy it and who should skip it. Because it relies on a flat top surface for the magnet to engage, it works best with handguns and pistols. If you are looking to store a long rifle or a shotgun, this product will not work for you. Furthermore, while the installation is described as quick and painless using double-sided tape or four heavy-duty screws, it is a fixed-mount solution. It is ideal for mounting under a dashboard, on a bed frame, or on a wall in a bedroom, but it is not a temporary or multi-gun carrier. The ABS plastic construction also ensures that your firearm never scratches against the hard metal of the magnet, preserving the finish of your weapon during storage.

On the other end of the spectrum is the ciciglow Truck Bracket, a piece of hardware built specifically for the demands of outdoor recreation and heavy transport. This is not a concealment device for a single pistol; it is a robust carrier designed to keep multiple items organized and secure in the back of a vehicle. The primary appeal here is the dual storage capability. It secures up to two firearms simultaneously, but crucially, it also accommodates bows, arrows, and other large outdoor gear. This makes it a central hub for anyone who spends their weekends hunting, trail riding, or managing property.
The build quality is defined by its material and structural integrity. Constructed from thick alloy steel in a one-piece design, this bracket resists twisting and compression. When you are driving over rough terrain in an ATV, UTV, or truck, vibration and impact are constant threats to loose equipment. The ciciglow bracket is designed to withstand these forces, providing stable support for heavy equipment without flexing or vibrating. It keeps guns and bows stationary even when the vehicle encounters bumps and curves, significantly reducing the risk of damage to your gear or injury from shifting loads.
Installation is another major factor for those who own vehicles they don't want to modify permanently. This bracket features a drill-free design that mounts to the rear window area without cutting into the interior or damaging the paint. You preserve the cabin's clean look and maintain full visibility while securing your gear. It maximizes cabin space by keeping weapons out of the passenger area, making it a reliable storage solution for ranching, off-road adventures, and daily commuting where you might want to secure your gear quickly. It is a dedicated tool for the person who values organization and durability over compact concealment.
• Best for Single Handgun Access → GMW Gun Magnet: If your primary goal is carrying a CCW or service pistol and needing to rack the slide instantly without removing a holster, the magnetic fast-draw mechanism is superior.
• Best for Multi-Gear Transport → ciciglow Truck Bracket: If you need to move two long guns, a bow, and arrows at once, the ciciglow bracket is the only option that offers the necessary capacity and organization.
• Best for Rough Terrain Stability → ciciglow Truck Bracket: While the GMW magnet holds well, the ciciglow's heavy-duty steel construction is explicitly rated to resist twisting and compression over bumpy trails and highway speeds.
• Best for Interior Concealment → GMW Gun Magnet: The GMW unit is designed to be hidden under dashboards, beds, or desks, whereas the ciciglow is a visible exterior or rear-window mount.
• Best for Non-Destructive Installation → ciciglow Truck Bracket: Both offer easy setup, but the ciciglow specifically highlights its ability to install without drilling, preserving the vehicle's interior, while GMW offers both adhesive and screw options for various surfaces.
• Best for Firearm Protection → GMW Gun Magnet: The ABS plastic coating on the GMW magnet prevents scratching the finish of your pistol, a feature not mentioned for the steel construction of the ciciglow bracket.
• Best for Off-Road Adventures → ciciglow Truck Bracket: For anyone taking gear onto a trail in a UTV or truck, the dual storage and rugged steel frame make this the clear choice for transporting bows and rifles safely.
• Best for Home/Bedside Security → GMW Gun Magnet: The compact size and versatility of mounting on walls, doorways, or furniture make the GMW ideal for quick home defense scenarios where a pistol is needed.
In my opinion, the choice between these two comes down entirely to what you are carrying and where you are going. If you are preparing for off-roading and need to secure multiple long guns and archery equipment without ruining your truck's interior, I would buy the ciciglow Truck Bracket. Its ability to hold two firearms plus a bow with a rigid steel frame makes it the only logical choice for that specific use case. However, if your priority is a hidden, instant-access spot for a single handgun in your vehicle or home, the GMW Gun Magnet is the superior tool due to its specialized fast-draw design and non-scratching finish. They serve different masters, but for the serious off-roader, the ciciglow bracket is the winner.
