About the College Gramin (Arts, Comm. & Sci.) Mahavidyalaya, Vasantnagar is established in 1991 by the parent organization Vimukt Jati Seva Samiti, Vasantnagar and permanently affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded Maharashtra. The College provide Undergraduate education in the faculties of Arts, Commerce and Science. It is recognized under 2f and 12b of UGC act. The college is located in a remote, rural, backward and hilly area and strives at its best to achieve its goals and objectives. The process of teaching learning and evaluation is efficient in college. The student strength in the College is more than 1000. In the faculty of Arts, there are 9 departments, in Science 6 including Chemistry and in Commerce 4. The College faculty comprises 11 Professors, 04 Associate Professors and 15 Assistant Professors. 13 Faculty members are research supervisors and worked on near about 20 Minor Research Projects were sponsored by UGC and the parent University. So far College has organized National Conference in Physics, State Level Workshops in Chemistry, Physics and English. The College strives hard to fulfill its goal of providing quality education to the students enrolled from lower socio-economic strata. The College is twice accredited by NAAC through subsequent two cycles.

About Conference

How will the Sustainable Development Goals be implemented?..Implementation and success will rely on countries' own sustainable development policies, plans and programmes, and will be led by countries. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be a compass for aligning countries' plans with their global commitments. As per Guideline United Nation on 1 January 2016, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development — adopted by world leaders in September 2015 at an historic UN Summit — officially came into force. Over the next fifteen years, with these new Goals that universally apply to all, countries will mobilize efforts to end all forms of poverty, fight inequalities and tackle climate change, while ensuring that no one is left behind. The SDGs, also known as Global Goals, build on the success of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and aim to go further to end all forms of poverty. The new Goals are unique in that they call for action by all countries, poor, rich and middle-income to promote prosperity while protecting the planet. They recognize that ending poverty must go hand-in-hand with strategies that build economic growth and addresses a range of social needs including education, health, social protection, and job opportunities, while tackling climate change and environmental protection.
