Turkeybowl is our annual 7v7 flag football tournament hosted by GMUVSA. This tournament invites all MAUVSA affiliated schools to play or spectate and raise funds for our Collective Philantrophy Project (CPP). The day is packed with action on the fields, as well as vendors lining the sides for spectators.

Semiformal is a social event that brings together the GMUVSA community for an evening of celebration, connection, and entertainment. This event highlights the vibrancy of our culture and the talent within our community. The night will feature performances by our own members and local groups, raffle giveaways, and a lively afterset to close out the celebration.

Culture Show | April 25th, 2026
Culture Show is a large, student-led production that celebrates and highlights Vietnamese culture through performances, storytelling, and fashion. It’s one of the most exciting events of the spring semester, with every VSA Chapter under the Mid-Atlantic Union Vietnamese Student Association hosting their own show. Performances often include skits, traditional dances featuring props like straw hats, umbrellas, fans, and fribbons, as well as martial arts, modern dance, and both traditional and contemporary fashion showcases.
