GENERAL INFORMATION
The meeting will take place in the Palazzone di Cortona in Cortona, Italy.
IMPORTANT for the people staying at Palazzone: please, plan your arrival between 2:30 – 8:15. After 8:15 check-in in Palazzone is no longer possible.
Lunch: daily complete lunch is served at the Palazzone from Monday to Friday. Our funding allows us to offer the lunch for each participant. Accompanying persons may also have lunch at the Palazzone at the price of 23 Euro upon signing in the secretary's office on the previous day.
Wednesday afternoon is free. On Friday there will be only morning talks (but there will be a lunch): thus the meeting is scheduled to end by Friday after lunch.
HOW TO GET TO CORTONA
There are several possibilities to get there in Cortona.
Car. If you arrive by car, both from the North and from the South, take the Valdichiana exit from the A1 highway, which is called Autostrada del Sole. Right after the toll gate exit take the E45 freeway (slip road from Siena to Perugia) in the direction to Perugia and then take the second exit for Cortona (Cortona San Lorenzo). You will just need to follow the street signs to arrive to the SS71 road in Camucia and to continue to Cortona.
Plane/train.
1. Fly to Florence and then take a train from Florence to Camucia-Cortona (the train takes approximately 1.30h).
2. Fly to Perugia and then take a train from Perugia to Camucia-Cortona (the train takes approximately 45min).
3. Fly to Rome and then take a train from Rome to Camucia-Cortona (the train takes approximately 2h).

From the train station Camucia-Cortona you need to take a taxi to the Palazzone, that you should book by phone. Please be aware that on Sunday could be complicated to find a taxi outside of the station.
