About us

The initial idea was pitched by Ethan during an AP Chem lab. From there, we began brainstorming possible activities and various ways to shed new light on the field of chemistry. We wanted to create a space where people from all different levels of experience in chemistry can collaborate while also having fun. Additionally, we hope that by sharing our experience in chemistry courses and creating an easy-access platform, less students will feel hesitant to enroll in advanced chemistry courses.

Club members must be present at at least 75% of all meetings unless approved by the board and are expected to actively engage in collaborative activities. Participation in competitions are optional but highly encouraged.

Absolutely none (well... maybe some chem and lab safety knowledge). We are an inclusive club that allows membership options for all GMHS students willing to engage in chemistry activities and promote a collaborative environment.

Due to COVID-19 related reasons, we will be conducting our meetings online. We generally hold meetings on Fridays @12pm. The meet code is CHEMCLUB. If you wish to receive information about future meetings, please make sure you are signed up as a member (join page).

When school resumes full time for SY 2020-2021 there will be an updated schedule for meetings that correlate to Green and Gold Hour.
