2025-2026 BOB Books
Battle of the Books is a state-wide Jeopardy style competition for students who like to read! Teammates collaborate to answer questions based on 16 books by providing the title and author of the book within a time limit.

How Can I Join? What are the Requirements?
Any GMHS student who loves to read can join!
Team member requirements:
1) attend the mandatory first Wednesday monthly meeting & 2 to 3 other meetings that month
2) read at least 5 books from the BOB book list
3) submit 5-10 practice questions after reading each book
We meet 3-4 Wednesday afternoons each month, 2:30 - 3:30. In March, we battle against other high school teams in the Wake County competition and upon winning it represent Wake County in the Region 3 competition in April. Regional winners go on to the state competition!

WAKE COUNTY COMPETITION:

If we win the Wake County competition, we will have practice dates until the regional competition in April.
