Graduate Medical Education Research and Quality

Research and Quality Day - Sponsored by Graduate Medical Education at Carolinas HealthCare System Blue Ridge

Research and Quality day is sponsored by the department of Graduate Medical Education who’s responsibility is to train internal medicine residents, gastroenterology and geriatric fellows. The goal of this day is to highlight some of the Research and Quality efforts made over the past year by our physicians and teammates. These efforts contribute to expanding scientific knowledge and improving quality outcomes which directly impact patient and community health. Almost every submission to this year’s annual event was accepted at prestigious national and regional conferences. I invite you to take the opportunity to review this year’s projects, and to consider submitting your work in future years.

Sincerely,

Golnosh Sharafsaleh, MD, MS, FAAFP
Program Director, Geriatric Fellowship
Chair of Research, Graduate Medical Education
Core Faculty, Internal Medicine Residency
