Privacy Policy – GLYPH Studio

This Privacy Policy explains how the GLYPH Studio app ("the app", "we", "us") handles information. By using the app, you agree to the practices described below.
In short: GLYPH Studio processes everything on your device. We do not create accounts, and we do not collect or send your personal data, your audio files, or your recordings to our servers.
1. Audio (microphone and system audio)
For the "Live" mode, the app can listen to your device's microphone or its audio output in order to animate the Glyph LEDs in real time. This audio is analyzed only on your device, in real time: it is not recorded, stored, or transmitted to us or to any third party.
2. Audio files
When you choose an audio file to generate a Glyph animation, the app processes it locally on your device to create the output file. Your files are not uploaded to any server.
3. Contacts
If you choose to set a Glyph ringtone for a specific contact, the app accesses your contacts only to associate the ringtone with the contact you selected, on the device. This data is not collected or transmitted.
4. Storage
The app reads the audio files you select and may save the files it generates to your device's Downloads/Music folder so you can use them. They stay on your phone.
5. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app displays ads through Google AdMob. To operate, AdMob may collect and process certain data, such as your device's advertising identifier and technical information, in order to serve and possibly personalize ads. This processing is handled by Google in accordance with its policies:

You can limit ad personalization in your device's Google Settings → Ads. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows a consent message before serving personalized ads; you can review or change your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy → Ad privacy options.
6. Purchases ("Supporter")
The optional "Supporter" unlock and any in-app purchases are processed by Google Play. We never receive or store your payment details. Google confirms to the app only whether the unlock was purchased, so it can be automatically restored when you reinstall the app or sign in on another device with the same Google account. Interface trial periods are stored locally on your device.
7. Permissions and what they are used for
• Microphone: Live mode from the microphone.
• System audio capture: Live mode from the audio output.
• Contacts: setting per-contact ringtones (optional).
• Storage/Audio media: reading your audio files and saving the generated files.
• Internet: displaying ads.
8. Children's data
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
9. Security
Because processing happens on your device and we do not collect personal data on our servers, we do not transfer or store such data elsewhere.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy; changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
