This Privacy Policy explains how GlowUp AI ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

1. What the App Does
GlowUp AI is a facial analysis application that uses artificial intelligence to rate facial attractiveness, provide detailed subscores for individual features (skin, symmetry, jawline, eyes, hair), and deliver personalized glow-up tips to help users improve their appearance.
2. Information We Collect
a) Account Information
We collect the following depending on how you sign in:
- Email & Password: Your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store passwords in plain text.
- Sign in with Apple: Your name and email address (or Apple's private relay email if you choose to hide your email). We never receive your Apple password.
- Sign in with Google: Your name, email address, and profile photo. We never receive your Google password.
This data is used only to create your account, verify your identity, and give you access to the App.
b) Facial Images and Analysis Data
When you use the face analysis feature, the App captures or receives a selfie photo. Important details about how your photos are handled:
- Your photo is compressed and temporarily processed to generate your face rating and tips.
- Photos are sent to third-party AI providers (Groq) for analysis in real time.
- Photos are NOT permanently stored on our servers. After the analysis result is returned, the image data is discarded by the AI provider.
- Your most recent analysis results (scores, tips, summary) are stored locally on your device.
- We do not use your photos to train AI models.
- Your photos are never shared with third parties for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than generating your analysis.
c) Subscription Information
We offer weekly, monthly, and quarterly premium subscriptions. All billing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store).
- We never collect or store credit card numbers, billing addresses, or any financial data.
- We only receive your subscription status (active, expired, cancelled) to unlock or restrict premium features.
d) Analytics & Diagnostics
We collect anonymous, non-identifiable data to improve app performance:
- Device type and operating system version
- App crash logs and error reports
- General usage patterns (e.g., feature usage frequency, scan counts)
- Firebase Analytics events (non-personal)
This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and operate the App's core face analysis features
- Generate personalized attractiveness scores and glow-up tips
- Authenticate and secure your account
- Manage your subscription access
- Improve app stability and performance
- Respond to support inquiries
We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing.
4. Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following third-party services:
- Google Firebase: Authentication, analytics, remote configuration
- Sign in with Apple: User authentication
- Sign in with Google: User authentication
- RevenueCat: Subscription management
- Groq: AI facial analysis processing
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store: Subscription billing
These services operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.
5. Data Storage & Security
- Analysis results are stored locally on your device using encrypted local storage.
- Authentication data is managed by Google Firebase with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
- Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms.
- Authentication uses OAuth 2.0 for Google and Apple sign-in.
- The App communicates with all servers over HTTPS only.
- Facial images are not retained by AI providers after processing.
- No system is 100% secure. While we implement strong protections, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Subscriptions & Cancellation
Premium features are available via weekly, monthly, and quarterly subscription plans.
All billing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device settings:
- iPhone/iPad: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
- Android: Google Play Store > Subscriptions
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued.
7. Account Deletion
You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time.
How to request deletion:
- Use the "Delete Account" option in the App's Profile screen
- Or email us at workplace0331@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request"
We will process your request within 30 days.
Please note: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through your device settings before requesting account deletion.
8. Children's Privacy
GlowUp AI is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child's data has been collected, we will delete it promptly.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and data
- Withdraw consent for data processing
- Data portability — request a copy of your data

Facial ratings and tips are generated by artificial intelligence and should not be considered medical, psychological, or professional advice. The App does not diagnose any medical or psychological condition. If you have concerns about your appearance or mental health, please consult a qualified professional.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
