Glowmaxxing ("Glowmaxxing", "we", "our", or "the App") provides AI-powered face, appearance, and skincare analysis. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when it is shared with service providers, how long it is retained, and the choices available to you.

When you use the scan feature, you may choose or capture one or more face photos, such as a front-facing selfie and, for some users or features, side-profile photos. These images may show your facial features, skin appearance, hair, lighting conditions, and other visible characteristics present in the photo.
Glowmaxxing does not collect Face ID data, TrueDepth camera data, biometric templates, faceprints, identity verification data, or data used to uniquely identify a person. We do not use face photos or face data for facial recognition, identity verification, advertising, or tracking.
Before AI photo analysis begins, the App asks for your permission to send your selected face photos to Google Generative AI (Gemini) through Firebase Cloud Functions. If you do not grant permission, the AI photo analysis is not performed.

The App generates analysis results from your photos, such as an overall score, feature breakdowns, improvement insights, skincare suggestions, and a personalized routine. These results are used to show your report, progress, and related recommendations inside the App.
Scan results and the photos needed to display your report or scan history may be stored locally on your device in the App's private storage. This local storage allows you to view your latest report, scan history, and progress timeline without uploading your history to our servers.

We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a lightweight session for API access and app functionality. This creates a random Firebase user identifier (UID). We do not require your name, email address, phone number, or a personal account to use the core scan flow.

During onboarding, you may provide information such as gender, age range, skin type, sensitivity, skincare goals, and how you heard about the App. We use this information to personalize the App experience and understand aggregate acquisition performance.
Most onboarding preferences are stored locally on your device. Referral source information and related aggregate statistics may be stored in Firebase Firestore in anonymous or aggregated form.

We use analytics tools to understand app usage and improve the product. Analytics events may include app opens, screen views, onboarding progress, paywall events, subscription events, device type, operating system version, and similar technical or usage information.
Analytics events do not include your face photos or raw AI analysis images.

If you subscribe, payment is processed by Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store your credit card number, Apple ID password, or full payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and premium entitlement information.

AI analysis results: Used to display your report, save local scan history, show progress, and personalize recommendations.
Onboarding preferences: Used to personalize the scan experience, routine, and recommendations.
Anonymous Firebase UID: Used to authenticate requests, protect backend access, and support app functionality.
Analytics and usage data: Used to measure app performance, fix issues, improve features, and understand general usage patterns.
Subscription data: Used to unlock premium features, restore purchases, and manage entitlement status.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use face photos or face data for advertising, tracking, facial recognition, identity verification, or building a biometric profile.

What face data we collect: Glowmaxxing collects only the face photos that you choose or capture for the scan feature, and the visible facial and skin characteristics contained in those photos. We do not collect biometric identifiers, faceprints, Face ID data, TrueDepth data, or facial recognition templates.
How face data is used: Face photos are used only to generate AI-powered appearance, face, and skincare analysis results, including score breakdowns, visible feature observations, improvement insights, and personalized routine suggestions.
Third-party AI processing: With your permission, your selected face photos are sent securely over HTTPS/TLS to Firebase Cloud Functions and then to Google Generative AI (Gemini) for the sole purpose of generating your analysis. Google and Firebase act as service providers for this processing. We require service providers that process user data for us to protect that data in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable App Store privacy requirements.
Where face data is stored: We do not store raw face photos in databases or server storage controlled by Glowmaxxing. Face photos may be stored locally on your device in the App's private storage so the App can display your latest report, scan history, or progress features.
How long face data is retained: Raw face photos sent for AI processing are not retained by Glowmaxxing on our servers after the analysis response is generated. Local photos and scan results remain on your device until you clear local data, delete your account from Settings, or delete the App.

We share data only with service providers needed to operate, analyze, and monetize the App. We do not sell your personal information.
Google Firebase: Used for anonymous authentication, Cloud Functions, Firestore configuration or aggregate data, and app infrastructure.
Google Generative AI (Gemini): Used to process selected face photos and generate AI analysis results after you grant permission.
AppsFlyer: Used for attribution and analytics. AppsFlyer does not receive your face photos or raw AI analysis images from us.
RevenueCat: Used to manage subscription status and premium entitlements. RevenueCat does not receive your face photos or raw AI analysis images from us.
Apple: Used for App Store payments, subscriptions, purchase restoration, and platform services.

Face photos: Not stored by Glowmaxxing in external server storage. Photos may remain locally on your device until you clear local data, delete your account, or delete the App.
AI analysis results and scan history: Stored locally on your device until you clear local data, delete your account, or delete the App.
Anonymous Firebase UID: Retained for the life of the anonymous Firebase session and deleted when you delete your account from Settings.
Referral and aggregate analytics data: May be retained in Firebase or analytics tools to understand aggregate app performance and acquisition.
Subscription records: Retained by Apple and RevenueCat as needed to manage purchases, subscriptions, renewals, refunds, and entitlement status.

We use HTTPS/TLS for network communication. We limit the face photos sent to AI processing to the photos you select or capture for the scan feature. We do not intentionally include face photos in analytics events, advertising events, or subscription events.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect the information processed by the App.

AI photo processing consent: You can decline the AI photo processing permission dialog. If you decline, AI photo analysis will not run.
Camera and photo access: You can manage camera and photo permissions in iOS Settings.
Clear local data: You can clear local App data from Settings inside the App, where available.
Delete your account: You can delete your account from Settings inside the App. This removes local data and your Firebase anonymous identity from the App flow.
Tracking permission: You can control App Tracking Transparency permissions in iOS Settings.
Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.

Glowmaxxing is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
