This Privacy Policy explains how Glot Pop ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and discloses information about you. This policy applies when you use our mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers. Glot Pop is designed to be a standalone, offline-first application. We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide your name, email address, or phone number.

2. How We Store Your Data

All data generated by the App is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure local storage (UserDefaults). This includes:

• Learning Progress: Your daily streak count and last quiz date.

• Preferences: Your selected language and app settings.

• Favorites: The list of words you have saved to your "Favorites" library.

Because this data is stored only on your device, if you delete the App, this data will also be deleted (unless you have backed up your device to iCloud/iTunes). We have no access to this data.

3. Features & Data Usage

Text-to-Speech (Pronunciation) The App uses Apple’s AVFoundation framework to generate audio pronunciations for words. This process is performed locally on your device using the voices installed on your iOS system. Your text inputs for pronunciation are not sent to our servers.

Sharing (Stickers & Images) The App allows you to share word cards as images (stickers) via the iOS Share Sheet (UIActivityViewController). When you use this feature, the App generates an image locally and passes it to the operating system. You choose the destination (e.g., Messages, Mail, Social Media). We do not see, track, or store the images you share.

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not use third-party analytics services (like Google Analytics or Mixpanel) or advertising networks. We do not track your behavior across other apps or websites.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our App does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any personal data from any user, this applies to children as well.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to the App's settings or description).
