The name glossapedia is made up of two parts: glossa, the Greek word meaning language, and pedia, another Greek word referring to a collection of knowledge. Put them together, and you get a collection of knowledge about languages - and that's exactly why we're here!
Learning a foreign language is one of the best things you can do in life.
Will Tuggle founded glossapedia in 2025 with the goal of spreading his passion for foreign languages and simplifying the language learning process for others.
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, he is a senior at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where he majors in International Affairs with a concentration in International Economics. He has studied abroad in five different countries: France, Jordan, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and Argentina.
He is fluent in three languages - English, French, and Spanish - and speaks six others at a professional level - Italian, Portuguese, Greek, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic (MSA & Levantine), and Japanese. In addition, he is currently learning German, Russian, and Dutch.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, watching all sports, watching TV and movies, visiting art museums, trying new food, reading, and spending time outdoors.
