Replace outdated paper registers and manual processes with a digital solution that empowers admins, residents, and security teams to manage visitors, deliveries, and emergencies with just a few taps. 

Smartdwell Technologies operates the Gloria Connect App. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. 

Information We Collect

To deliver Gloria Connect’s features securely, we collect the following information:

• Account & Profile Data: Name, email, phone number, and residential/office details provided during registration.

• Visitor/Delivery Data: Guest/delivery personnel names, purpose of visit, vehicle details, and delivery tracking IDs.

• Device & Usage Data:

  • Network Activity (via INTERNET permission): App interaction logs, IP address, and crash reports.

  • Contacts (via READ_CONTACTS): Access to your device’s contact list (optional) to simplify inviting or pre-registering visitors.

  • Camera & Storage (via CAMERA, READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Photos/QR codes uploaded for visitor verification or saved locally for gate passes.

  • Location (via ACCESS_FINE/COARSE_LOCATION): Approximate location to verify entry/exit at your community’s gates.

• Security Data: QR codes, gate passes, visitor entry/exit timestamps, and photos (if uploaded).

Note:

• CALL_PHONE permission is used only to let you call visitors/security directly from the app (user-initiated).

• VIBRATE and WAKE_LOCK permissions ensure real-time notifications work reliably.

• We never access sensitive data like payment details or government IDs unless explicitly required for a feature.

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to operate and improve Gloria Connect:

• Core Services:

  • Manage visitor approvals, generate QR codes/gate passes (using CAMERA and storage permissions).

  • Send real-time alerts (via INTERNET, WAKE_LOCK, and VIBRATE).

  • Restore app functionality after device reboot (via RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED).

• Security & Access:

  • Verify visitor identities using uploaded photos/QR codes.

  • Track entry/exit patterns via location data to prevent unauthorized access.

• Convenience Features:

  • Simplify visitor invites with contact list access (optional, requires user consent).

  • Save gate passes locally for offline access (using storage permissions).

• App Performance:

  • Diagnose crashes, optimize features, and ensure compatibility with your device.

• Legal & Safety:

  • Respond to emergencies using panic alerts and location data.

  • Comply with lawful requests (e.g., incident investigations).

We do not:

• Sell or share your data with advertisers.

• Use contacts/location for unrelated purposes.

• Access your device’s storage beyond app-specific files (e.g., QR codes).
