Global Science Exchange

As Women-Water Nexus and the ASCE- Environmental and Water Resources Institute Students & Education Activities Council we are launching a new online conference series called “Global Science Exchange” series. As of January 2022, we invite three or four speakers in each session to discuss research on an environmental issue each month. We welcome graduate students and early-career researchers to submit one-paragraph abstract on their research via https://forms.gle/yFXQnAptVJYNvnHx9

The board particularly welcome abstract submissions focusing on the following topics:

• Climate change and sustainability

• Environment and ecology

• Water Resources Planning & Management

• Urban water (including drainage system, distribution system, urban hydrology, green infrastructure, etc.)

• Hydraulics and Waterways

• Air quality

• Waste management

• Wastewater surveillance of COVID-19

• Environmental justice
