Global Mission Sengoi (GMS) was established in 2018 as an independent and self-governing church-based mission dedicated to serving the Orang Asli people in West Malaysia (Peninsular Malaysia), with a commitment to build a church that carries hope and shapes the future. From its inception, GMS has operated independently while actively pioneering, developing, and strengthening its own church branches among Orang Asli villages throughout West Malaysia. Through spiritual ministry, education, and holistic development, GMS believes that true and lasting transformation begins from within. Therefore, GMS is not merely an NGO, but a faith-centered mission grounded in spiritual leadership and discipleship church for today that prepares for the future.
The ministry of Global Mission Sengoi is led by the Senior Pastor, Rev. Lizune Bah Chong, together with a dedicated leadership team serving with integrity, commitment, and spiritual responsibility.
Currently, GMS oversees 11 active church branches across Perak, Pahang, and Kelantan, primarily serving Orang Asli villages in West Malaysia. The ministry is supported by 6 Pastors, 7 Lay Pastors, and 20 staff members, serving both central operations and branch locations.
Beyond church ministry, GMS manages an Asrama (Student Hostel) established on 1 June 2024, providing care and educational support for students from Orang Asli backgrounds who are out of school or from families unable to afford school fees. At present, the hostel accommodates 8 secondary school students.
GMS also operates a Kindergarten, established on 1 January 2023, located at Kg Pos Slim, Simpang Pulai, Perak, serving children from Orang Asli villages in West Malaysia. The kindergarten currently serves 6 students, and by God’s grace, several students successfully completed their kindergarten education in 2024. The kindergarten continues to operate consistently and in an orderly manner.
