Permissions Requested: ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION and ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION
Purpose: To calculate accurate Islamic prayer times (Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) tailored to your exact geographical coordinates, and to determine the precise direction of the Qibla (Kaaba in Makkah) relative to your current position.
Storage & Transmission: Your location coordinates are processed locally on your device. We do not transmit your location to our own private servers, nor do we sell, log, or track your real-time whereabouts.
Manual Override: You may choose not to grant location permissions and instead manually select a preset city or coordinates from the in-app location picker.

Purpose: The app accesses your device's built-in magnetic and orientation sensors solely to rotate the interactive Qibla compass needle toward the Kaaba in real-time.
Storage: Sensor telemetry is computed in real-time within memory and is never saved or transmitted.

Permissions Requested: POST_NOTIFICATIONS, VIBRATE
Purpose: To trigger local audio (Azan / Takbir / Beep) and vibration alerts when a scheduled prayer time is reached or upcoming, based on your configured alert preferences.
Storage: All prayer alert settings and custom minutes offsets are saved strictly on your local device storage.

Data Stored: User preferences, selected calculation method (e.g., Muslim World League, Egyptian, ISNA, JAKIM, etc.), Asr juristic method (Shafi'i/Standard vs Hanafi), Hijri calendar day offset, prayer alarm configurations, and digital Tasbih counters.
Storage Location: Saved locally on your device via Android local storage (DataStore / SharedPreferences). This information never leaves your device.

Global Prayer displays standard banner advertisements served by Google AdMob.
AdMob may automatically collect and process certain pseudonymous information, including:

Diagnostic and ad interaction metrics
This data is used by Google to deliver, measure, and personalize or non-personalize ads in accordance with Google's advertising policies and applicable laws.

You can remove all locally stored data at any time by clearing the application data in Android Settings > Apps > Global Prayer > Storage > Clear Data, or by uninstalling the app.
No personal account or login is required to use Global Prayer.
