The move "was made to put America’s interests first," a White House spokeswoman said, as U.S. munitions have been depleted in recent years.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered a pause in sending a shipment of missiles and ammunition to Ukraine amid concern about the U.S. military’s stockpiles, according to two defense officials, two congressional officials and two sources with knowledge of the decision.
Hegseth ordered the delay weeks after he issued a memo ordering a review of the U.S. stockpile of munitions, which has been depleted after years of the United States’ sending weapons to Ukraine to defend against the Russia invasion, as well as nearly two years of military operations in the Middle East as the United States fought Houthi rebels in Yemen and defended Israel and allies against Iran, four of the officials said.

Now that Google is offering a new search feature powered by artificial intelligence, it's quite likely you'll be holding query with the gods that govern all things internet searches even more than before.
Google's new tool, which is simply called AI Mode, is programmed to provide conversational responses to complex questions.
The company says its AI Mode is able to analyze information from multiple sources in order to offer comprehensive, multi-faceted answers, allowing for a deeper exploration of topics, as well as topical comparisons, and follow-up questions.
Wow! Well, while that all sounds super nifty, just like any informational consumer who doesn't happen to be one of the eggheads involved in making the technology they're using - I really don't care how it works, I just want it to do my bidding (...and not just on eBay ;-)!
Although it's more than likely that Google's new AI Mode is already fielding a bevy of vastly less-intriguing questions like "how do I get a girl to like me back" and "can I survive a zombie apocalypse" (which you're already at least partially responsible for starting just by asking something so dumb, by the way...), there are also any number of inquiries which could be posed to the new technology that are of superior depth and enormously broader interest. While China's men's football team hasn't generated much excitement in recent years, humanoid robot teams have won over fans in Beijing – based more on the artificial intelligence (AI) technology involved than any actual athletic prowess.
In China's capital on Saturday night, four teams of humanoid robots faced off in fully autonomous 3-on-3 football matches powered entirely by AI.
It was touted as a first in China and a preview for the upcoming World Humanoid Robot Games, set to take place in Beijing.
According to the organisers, a key aspect of the match was that all the participating robots operated fully autonomously using AI-driven strategies without any human intervention or supervision. By Euronews

The allegedly leaked document undermined the White House’s case for an immigration crackdown.
Spy chief Tulsi Gabbard is on the hunt for “deep state” leakers — prompted at least in part by damaging reporting that undermined the White House’s case for an immigration crackdown.
Her leak investigation, however, may already be running afoul of the law, a Senate Intelligence Committee member said this week.
Gabbard failed to notify Congress about her search for leakers despite a law requiring her to do so for “significant” disclosures, Sen. Angus King, I-Maine, said at a Wednesday hearing.

Biden’s failure to reenter Obama’s nuclear deal helped create the risk for a potentially catastrophic U.S. war against Iran. Jamal Abdi
Almost exactly 10 years ago, as the U.S. was the cusp of sealing a historic agreement to curb Iran’s nuclear program, Barack Obama offered a warning to those who were working to tank the accord: “Let’s not mince words: The choice we face is ultimately between diplomacy and some form of war — maybe not tomorrow, maybe not three months from now, but soon.”
Obama struck the deal in 2015, but less than three years later, during President Donald Trump’s first term, the U.S. unilaterally violated the agreement. After a short time, the deal was dead.
Then came the war Obama had predicted. This month, Israel unleashed barrages of missiles, bombs, and drone attacks against Iranian military installations, nuclear facilities, and residential neighborhoods. Iran undertook retaliatory strikes at Israel.
It was emphasized that the aircraft were struck using long-range drones. This points to a well-planned operation in which the enemy aircraft were hit while still on the ground, before they had a chance to take off.
Now, the OSINT community CyberBoroshno has released telling satellite imagery that confirms the aircraft were indeed hit.
Elon Musk has launched a scathing attack on US President Donald Trump's 'Big Beautiful Bill,' warning that the legislation could backfire disastrously on the Republican Party. However, in an unexpected twist, Musk's own AI chatbot, Grok, offered a different view.

However, when an X user asked Grok if it agreed with Musk,
