Simulation game "A Day as a Member of the European Parliament" was held in SU "Ekzarh Antim I" in Kazanlak, Bulgaria in April 2023. The game was organized from Europe Direct Stara Zagora and Sofia University "Kliment Ohridski" especially for the project partners.
Professor Shikova involved everyone in the terminology, history and organization of the EU in a European Masterclass. After the interesting lecture, a simulation game organized by Europe Direct - Stara Zagora was held. The students from the partner schools took on the role of MEPs and worked in 4 committees, looking for workable solutions on the topics: democracy, gender equality, digitalization, climate change.
After each committee prepared its proposals, their speakers presented them to the plenary hall and the debates of the "MEPs" began.

"MEPs" debated the proposals of the committees and even took important decisions: improving cycling infrastructure, improving public transport within the EU, equal pay and job opportunities between men and women, tougher penalties for certain crimes.
In the end of the Masterclass all participants- students and teachers - received a Certificate signed by Prof. Shikova and Maria Markova from Europe Direct Stara Zagora.
