Glimpse is made by Appiverse Studio LLP. In this app your photos go only to friends you added. No public feed, no ads, no ad tracking. We don't sell your data.
What we collect
You give us: your phone number (it's your login), Your name and profile photo, the photos you send, your captions, reactions, messages, and who your friends are. Plus anything you email us for support.
We collect automatically: device model, OS and app version, crash logs, and basic server logs including your IP address. We use these to fix bugs and block abuse.
Apple handles payments. We're told what you bought. We never see your card details.
We don't collect advertising IDs, your location, or your browsing history. We don't track you across other apps or websites.
When you invite someone from your contacts, we send that one phone number to our servers so we can connect you if they join. We store it scrambled (a keyed hash) along with the last four digits, so you can see who you invited. Pending invites are deleted once accepted, or after 30 days.
We don't upload your whole address book.
To deliver your photos to the friends you picked, verify your login by SMS, send notifications you turned on, keep your history and make your monthly reels, answer support emails, stop abuse and fraud, fix crashes, and meet legal obligations.
We don't use your photos to train AI models, and we don't use them for advertising.
If you're in the EEA or UK: we process your data to provide the service you signed up for (contract), with your consent for contacts and notifications, and on legitimate interests for security and debugging.
We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.
We use service providers who work under contract and only on our instructions: [HOSTING_PROVIDER] for hosting and storage, Apple for notifications and payments, [ANALYTICS_PROVIDER] for crash reports, and an SMS provider for your login codes.
We'll also share data if the law genuinely requires it, or to protect people from harm. Where we're allowed to tell you first, we will.
If Appiverse is ever acquired, your data may transfer with the business. We'll tell you before anything changes.
We're based in India and host with [HOSTING_PROVIDER]. If you use Glimpse elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in India and other countries where our providers operate. For EEA and UK data we use the EU Standard Contractual Clauses — email [PRIVACY_EMAIL] for a copy.

Delete your account and we remove your data from live systems within 30 days, and from backups within 90. Photos you already sent stay in your friends' history — like a print you handed someone.
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is limited and logged. We use SMS codes instead of passwords, which removes a whole category of breach.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we'll tell you and the regulators as the law requires.
Glimpse is rated 12+ and is not for children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA and UK without a parent's permission). We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13, and we'll delete any account we find.
