Graduation ceremonies typically take place in midâMay at a local church in the Greater Lafayette area. While details vary slightly each year, the general schedule follows this rhythm:
11:00 AM â Rehearsal
12:30 PM â Prelude & Senior Slideshow
1:30 PM â Graduation Ceremony
Reception â Immediately following the ceremony
Note: All final decisions are made by the parent committee for that year.
All expenses associated with the graduation ceremony are equally shared among participating families.Â
The parent committee manages the budget and communicates costs clearly throughout the planning process.
đ Sign Up Information will be posted here when available.
Preparation for graduation begins in January and is led entirely by participating parents. Families receive a signâup form and attend an informational meeting to begin organizing the event.
Parents work together to coordinate all aspects of the ceremony, including:
Program design
Reception coordination
Photo area setup
Greeters
Cleanâup team
Slideshow creation
Senior board display
Treasurer / budget coordination
This collaborative approach keeps the ceremony personal, meaningful, and reflective of the families involved.
Â
Our graduation ceremony is a celebration of Godâs faithfulness and the hard work of students and families throughout their homeschooling journey. We desire this event to honor Christ, encourage families, and reflect the unity we share in Him.
We strive to create a ceremony that is:
Â
Christâcentered: Acknowledging Godâs guidance, provision, and purpose in each studentâs life.
Familyâfocused: Recognizing the vital role parents play in discipling and educating their children.
Uplifting and encouraging: Celebrating achievements with joy, gratitude, and hope for the future.
Unified in purpose: Bringing together diverse Christian families in a shared expression of faith and accomplishment.
Our goal is to provide a meaningful, memorable ceremony that reflects the heart of Christian homeschooling and points students toward a future grounded in faith and truthÂ
