Tamora McConnelL

Dr. Tamora McConnell was born and raised in Jackson, MS. She has been an educator for 11 years across Mississippi. She earned her bachelor's in Broadcast Journalism from USM and MAT from William Carey University. She continued her education at William Carey to earn a Specialist in Instructional Leadership and Doctorate in Educational Leadership in 2019.

Tamora is currently a Curriculum Lead for ELA teachers in 3rd-5th grades in Jackson Public Schools. She is also a member of the 2021-2022 class of Leadership Greater Jackson and Junior League of Jackson.

Tamora enjoys writing fictional novels and aspires to one day become a published author. She has taken her mission of dismantling racism from the classroom to Congress. She is a voluntary Results advocate working to help all Americans.
