Jeonju-si is located in western South Korea and is the provincial capital of Jeollabuk-do. It is located 2.5 hours away from Seoul.

Jeonju is a city that has a thousand-year of history, traditional culture, and potential for tourism. Itβs known for the Jeonju Hanok Heritage Village, an area of traditional houses, craft shops, and food stalls. In the village, the 15th-century Gyeonggijeon Shrine has portraits of former kings.
It forms a basin surrounded by Girin Peak, a branch of Noryeong Mountain Range that stretches from north-east to south-west; Godeok Mountain, Namgo Mountain, Moak Mountain, and Wansan seven peaks in east, south, and west directions.
