Glen Urquhart Community Council

Welcome to the Glen Urquhart Community Council website. We exist to represent the voice of the Glen Urquhart community and ensure local views are heard on matters that affect our area.

We seek to act as an advocate for residents, working closely with The Highland Council, public authorities, and community groups. 

Our objectives are:

• Reflect community views – gather, coordinate, and fairly represent the diversity of opinions within Glen Urquhart.

• Engage with authorities – communicate local perspectives to The Highland Council, public bodies, and other organisations.

• Act in the community’s interest – take practical steps that benefit residents and the area.

• Promote well-being and community spirit – encourage initiatives that strengthen local life.

• Provide a platform for voices – enable residents to express opinions on issues affecting their lives, environment, and future development.

At the heart of these objectives is our commitment to being the voice of Glen Urquhart.
