About After Grad

After grad events are held at many secondary schools throughout the province to provide a fun, safe, alcohol and drug-free, chaperoned after-party for the graduating class. It is organized by parent volunteers who fundraise and plan the event with student input. The event is heavily subsidized by fundraising, which goes towards the cost of the venue, entertainment, food, activities and prizes. We try to provide this event at minimal cost to the students to encourage all to attend.

After Grad celebrations are a tradition that started many years ago by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) as a way to reduce injuries and fatalities from unsupervised after parties that happened following high school graduations. We are excited to continue this tradition for our grads so they can celebrate safely before heading off on their post secondary journeys.

The Gleneagle After Grad 2026 Fundraising is underway!

We are looking for volunteers to help fundraise and plan - any amount of time is welcome!

VENUE

The Rec Room is Reserved!

We have reserved the entire facility for our Gleneagle grads. We will have a DJ, dancing, karaoke, arcade games, pool tables, ping pong tables, quiet area for games or videos, and seating areas to just hang out with friends.

Food will include assorted pizza, sliders, sweet/salty bar, fruit and veggie platters, cheese and charcuterie platters, donut bites, pop/coffee/tea and more!

And did we say Prizing... yes Prizing!... the more we fundraise the better the prizing!

Bottles for After Grad

Save your returnables and take them to any Return-it depot in clear plastic bags.
Use the After Grad account (778 831 0578) at the express kiosk to print labels. Account name will say Glen Eagle. Attach the labels to your bags, scan the labels, and drop off the bags. That's it! No sorting or counting required!

The refunds will go to support Gleneagle After Grad.
This account is active all year so you can continue to use it to support After Grad.
