Giving Back Together
Keppel PTA is proud to partner with Glendale Council PTA on community drives that extend our care beyond our own campus. Throughout the year, our families come together for collections like the Back to School Backpack Drive, providing school supplies to students in need across our district, and the Thanksgiving Pie Drive, helping neighboring families celebrate the season with a little extra sweetness. These drives are a simple, meaningful way for Keppel kids to learn that generosity is something we practice, not just something we talk about. Watch our weekly update in the Sunday Principal's Message and our social media for collection dates and drop-off details throughout the year.
PTA Backpack Drive
Hi Keppel Families!
Summer is in full swing, but back to school is just around the corner! As we start gearing up for the new school year, please join Keppel's PTA in participating in Glendale Unified's 2nd Annual Back-to-School Backpack Drive. We are looking to collect new backpacks to serve the needs of children in our community. These backpacks will be going directly to 5 of our community schools. Glendale Unified currently has five Community Schools: Cerritos, Mann, Marshall, Columbus, and Jefferson.
We are collecting backpacks now until August 1st. You can use this Amazon link, so there is no need to go to the store!
Thank you for helping our Glendale students by encouraging and equipping them with what they need to start the year off right!
