An undercover guy storms into the house and threatens the two females
Autumn, 1996, Glen Lake, NY
The two of them were just sitting right in front of the fireplace on the other end of the two connected rooms - the mother daughter pair who were renting the Glen Lake house - and they were pretending to be just quietly staring right into it and while practically trying to hide right into each other's arms at the same time. They assumed this position on their own whilst I was sitting by myself at the kitchen counter a good 20 feet away. There were just the three of us in the room. I didn't yet think yet that there was anything odd about there behavior but as it turns out it was because they 'knew' what was coming next! It was about 8:00 at night and dark.
And then suddenly WHAM - a thirty something guy suddenly storms into the house right thru the kitchen door right behind me and just off to the left. And dressed as I recall in a business raincoat. He stopped just three feet away from where I was sitting on the kitchen area counter stool and he just stood there but he never actually even bothered looking right at me at all - only at the two of them - the mother daughter pair at the other side of the room. And they were both now feeling, and looking, really small. Then he spoke ...
“Hey John," he suddenly said after about twenty seconds of absolute silence, and all the while just starring intently at the two females, "what do you say we take these two bitches right out into the woods right now and just beat the shit right out of them?”
And he really meant what he said! And he was really pissed about something! Big time! And he was actually SEETHING with hatred towards the two 'things' - and they both knew it!
Needless to say an awkward silence now filled the room and for a really long time. Probably a whole 30 seconds. And nobody even moved a muscle, including me. And him just glaring at them with utter contempt the whole time. I now just stared at the 'two' , both with their backs to the two of us while still staring into their fireplace. I was just trying to figure out what the hell was going on!
And then he suddenly just turned around and left. And without saying another word. I still have absolutely no idea who the heck this guy was. Good thing he was around!
The point is this - some slime ball thing had obviously just been thwarted (and for all I know it was one of those designed-to-be-lethal ones) by the undercover guy and he was just letting them, and me, know it! But I still don't know what the hell it was that he was actually talking about! And apparently he really came in handy!
But I still have no idea what he meant!
And so I NEED to know ...
I NEED TO KNOW WHAT WAS THWARTED !!!
AND WHO WAS REALLY BEHIND IT ALL?
