Indicative Proposals

The indicative layout above shows our approach towards establishing a development framework for the site, which would form the basis of a planning application. This comprises:

  • Up to 25 new high quality homes, ranging from 1 to 5 bedroom units
  • Mix of sizes and types, including detached, semi-detached and terraced properties including bungalows
  • Provision of affordable housing*
  • Allocated parking provision in line with SODC's requirements
  • New communal parking area for existing and new residents to use and those using the village hall or community shop
  • Sensitive new landscaping across the site including planting of new trees and shrubs
  • New public open space

*Affordable housing is defined as homes which are owned and managed by a registered social landlord such as social rented or shared ownership properties, but could also include starter homes and discounted market homes for first time buyers.
