Soul that is corrupted and manifest into a semi-uncontrollable creature are known as Unknownity. They say the corruption came from another dimension, the Void. Perhaps the area of the "Underworld Abyss".

They're quire more potent in their mana capacity, exposing (MP) around them, making them quite a nuisance of a magic user. Recommend eliminating first.
