Keeping a light on for Scotland

Glasgow for Europe (formerly know as Glasgow loves EU) campaigns to strengthen ties with the European Union and see Scotland eventually rejoin the EU.  Our group was formed following Scotland voting 62% to remain in the EU in the 2016 Brexit referendum. In Glasgow, the majority for remain was 66.6%. Glasgow is a European city.

Glasgow for Europe is not allied with any political party.

Glasgow for Europe keeps a light on for Scotland in Europe through campaigning activities like street stalls, workshops, talks, livestreams and social gatherings. Our work includes specific campaigns aimed at closer ties with the EU in areas like immigration, work permits, higher education, hospitality, culture and the arts.

We welcome all who share our European values of promoting peace, security, prosperity and democracy through political and economic integration.

We’d love you to join us. To find out more visit us on Facebook Glasgow for Europe on X (formerly twitter) @GlasgowEurope and on Instagram @GlasgowforEurope.
