Sanctuary Choir
The Sanctuary Choir practices on Wednesdays at 1:00 pm.
Prime Timers
The Prime Timers is a ministry for those in the prime of their lives. They meet once per quarter for a meal, fellowship, or maybe even an overnight trip!
Sunday Funday
One Sunday afternoon each month, the children of the church participate in a Sunday Funday activity! Activities include Bible Study, Crafts, Music, and even an occasional Field Trip!
Women on Mission
Women on Mission is an outreach program run by the women of the church. They have a global impact, participating in programs such as Operation Christmas Child, Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. They also have a local impact, sending Valentines to local shut-ins, packing Christmas baskets, and supporting other ministries in the church.
Breakfast Club
The Youth of Glasgow Baptist Church join with the Youth of Buena Vista Baptist Church for a weekly breakfast club. Middle and high school students meet on Wednesdays at 7:00 am for breakfast and bible study before heading off to school for the day. Transportation to local middle and high schools is provided.
Girls in Action
Girls in Action is a missions-focused group for young girls. Their biggest project is the Lottie Moon Christmas Post Office. They deliver Christmas cards from members of the congregation to others in the congregation. All proceeds from the Post Office are donated to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.
Children's Choir
Historically, the Children's Choir has provided Special Music for the Worship Service once a month and an annual Christmas musical. They practice after service until 1:00 pm. Their performances always bring smiles to the faces of all in the congregation.
Vacation Bible School
Historically, Vacation Bible School takes place one week in the summer. Children as young as age three through children who just completed fifth grade spend a week learning the Bible, singing, eating snacks, making crafts, and playing games!
