GlanceBar is a home screen widget utility that displays notification icons and badges on supported Android devices.

The Application does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or age in order to use it.

Permissions and Local Data

The Application requires the following Android permissions to function:

Notification Access (NotificationListenerService)

This permission allows the Application to read notification information, such as the originating app and its notification icon, so it can display them in the widget.

Privacy Notice: Notification information is processed only on your device in real time. It is not stored in a database, transmitted over the internet, or shared with the Developer or any third party.

Local Storage (SharedPreferences)

The Application stores your preferences, such as widget orientation, style, and alignment, locally on your device. These settings are used only to preserve your customization preferences.


2. Location Information

The Application does not collect or access your device's precise or approximate location.


3. Third-Party Access

The Application does not transmit user data to the Developer or any third party.

Specifically:

All functionality operates locally on your device.


4. Your Choices

You can stop using the Application at any time by uninstalling it.

You may also revoke Notification Access at any time through your Android device's Settings.


5. Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed toward children under the age of 13.

The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users. If you believe this Privacy Policy does not accurately reflect the operation of the Application or have any concerns, please contact me.


6. Privacy Regulations

The Application is designed with privacy in mind.

It does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share personal information or notification content with external servers. Because all processing occurs locally on your device, many privacy obligations associated with collecting personal data do not apply.
